At BA Glass, sustainability has been at the heart of our journey for decades, shaping our strategy and driving innovation. Our goal is clear: to become carbon neutral by 2050. Today, we are proud to power all our operations with 100% renewable electricity, eliminating Scope 2 emissions. We have reduced 21% of emissions by packed glass from Scopes 1 & 2 in the last 4 years. But our commitment doesn’t stop here. Through cutting-edge technologies and strong partnerships with customers, suppliers, and external entities, we are reducing our carbon footprint across the entire supply chain and leading the way to a greener future.

Projects and initiatives
BA Glass uses 100% renewable electricity and has installed 80.000 square meters of solar panels on the rooftops of plants and warehouses for self-consumption, effectively reducing the carbon footprint and securing a sustainable energy source.

BA Glass is researching and developing a new furnace that will significantly reduce emissions by substituting natural gas with renewable electricity, green hydrogen, or biofuel.
BA Glass is improving logistics and transportation with sustainable solutions, like Intermodal Systems, Duo Trailers, Low-Emission Fuels, and Electric Vehicles (EVs). By collaborating with customers and suppliers, BA Glass is developing a greener logistics network and driving towards zero-emission operations.
BA Glass is focusing on the benefits of biomethane and green hydrogen, a renewable fuel, as a promising step in its sustainability journey to replace natural gas, and is committed to integrating it into the company’s energy sources.
